An Ohio appeals court has upheld a judge's order that a deadbeat father can't have more kids until he pays his back child support.We have millions of moms who cannot support themselves, and who depend on AFDC, food stamps, housing subsidies, child support, and other welfare programs. Maybe they should get sterilized as a condition for support payments.
The decision this week by the 9th District Court of Appeals didn't provide an opinion about whether the judge's order was appropriate. Instead the appeals court said it didn't have enough information to decide the merits of the case without a copy of the pre-sentence report detailing Asim Taylor's background.
In January 2013, Lorain County Probate Judge James Walther said Taylor couldn't have more children while he is on probation for five years. The judge said the order would be lifted if Taylor pays nearly $100,000 in overdue support for his four children.

If I were him, and didn't have a moral objection to abortion, then I would just continue on as I have been, and then use the ruling of the courts that he is not allowed to have any more children to compel the next woman he gets pregnant to have an abortion. Force that all the way to the supreme court. Women have biological control over whether a child is born, and legal authority, so how can he be held accountable for babies being born. Cases like this are ridiculous. Sadly the court doesn't see the legal paradox that they are building.
