A sad reflection of the current state of affairs. Having been in that revolving door as a child, I can confirm how ineffective it was and what an expensive process it is.

All I wanted was to have my dad around. The courts made it so hard for him to do so. They punished him for being an accomplished citizen, with shy lock terms.
I doubt we will ever come to realize the devastating effect that our current system produces. It will collapse under it's own weight before any change can be made.
