Divorced father seeks equal protection

Bob Unruh :
A case is developing in a Tennessee divorce dispute that one attorney believes could impact custody decisions nationwide because it calls down the authority of the 14th Amendment's equal protection clause to help fathers who are good parents and want to remain involved in their children's lives.

The attorney, Stanley Charles Thorne, told WND the issue in the case at hand will be significant, since there are 3,000 divorce or custody cases in courts across the U.S. daily.

And according to the Children'sJustice.org website, those cases leave nearly 38 percent of the fathers with no access or visitation rights to their children.
The federal courts do say that parents have constitutional rights under the 14A, but they rarely do anything about it.

If the courts refuse to enforce fathers' 14th Amendment Rights, the time has come for every father to turn to their legislators and initiate impeachment proceedings against judges who deny equal access to children, or who willfully refuse to enforce court-ordered parenting time. Since these issues are usually all part of a court order, that includes child support obligations and enforceability, for a judge to ignore one part of the order and strictly enforce another part, indicates severe gender bias on the part of the jurist, opening him up to official misconduct charges, gender bias hate crimes and impeachment.

Now that we have laws prohibiting discrimination between the sexes regarding wages and salaries, the only discriminatory policy left in this country is that of family courts routinely granting child custody (or primary caretaker in joint custody situations; which is the same as being sole custodian)to women in over 90% of all custody and paternity cases.

It is time to end gender discrimination in all its forms. If family courts, judges and lawyers want to continue the charade of "best interests of the children", then it will be necessary for the public to remove these judges from office, and accuse attorneys of malpractice and criminal activities for fomenting continuing denial of equal rights in divorce courts.
